Edgemont Weight Management Clinic is a pharmacist-led medical weight clinic at Bay 6, 34 Edgedale Dr NW in Calgary, run by Wessam Sakr, BScPharm, RPh, a Certified Bariatric Educator and Certified Diabetes Educator with more than nine years of direct patient care. Assessment, prescribing decisions and prescription coordination happen in the same appointment, and no referral is needed; medication is dispensed and cold-stored by Edgemont Family Pharmacy in the same building. Programmes use GLP-1 receptor agonists, primarily semaglutide and tirzepatide, with structured dose titration, side-effect monitoring and body composition tracking, and intensive tracks add the OPTIFAST meal-replacement protocol. All programme fees are published in advance.
