Clinic Introduction

True North Metabolic is a physician-led weight loss and men's health clinic at 702 King Street West in Kitchener, serving Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph. It is led by Dr. Khashayar Farzam, CCFP, DABFM and a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, who works full time as an emergency physician and teaches at McMaster University. The clinic treats adults and children, combining nutrition, activity and behaviour coaching with GLP-1 medication management for drugs such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Zepbound, and separately runs a men's health service covering low testosterone diagnosis and treatment, athlete health and hair loss. Physician visits are OHIP covered; body composition scans are optional extras.
