常见问题

How is the genomics test performed?

The test consists of a non-invasive saliva test that will be analyzed and processed. Test results typically take about 6-8 weeks.

Does health insurance pay for IntellxxDNA™ tests or reports? Will genetic testing affect my health insurance?

IntellxxDNA™ is not direct-to-consumer and does not accept insurance at this time. The Genetics Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008 (GINA) prohibits insurance companies and employers with less than 15 employees from acquiring results of genetic tests. Group health insurance companies cannot use genetic information to deny coverage, establish pre-existing condition clauses, or change premiums.

Should my genetic test results be included in my medical record?

This genetic testing will NOT become a part of your medical file, as no insurance is billed and a separate medical portal is used for the data.

Why do I have to go through a clinician to receive IntellxxDNA™ testing and reporting?

Unlike ancestry-based genomics, the field of medical genomics is complex, even for well-trained clinicians. IntellxxDNA™ provides clinicians with ongoing education to ensure that they have access to research-based, accurate information.

Do I really want to dig deep into my DNA?

Your DNA is NOT your destiny. Understanding your genomic profile empowers you to make intelligent health and wellness choices that may impact your future quality of life. With DNA results, we can counsel patients more effectively regarding diet, lifestyle, nutrition and which supplements and medication your body needs.

诊所简介

California Regenerative Clinic in San Francisco, CA offers NAD+ therapy, copper peptides, and IntellxxDNA genomic testing under Dr. Victor Liu, MD.

California Regenerative Clinic in San Francisco, CA, operates under the medical direction of Dr. Victor Liu, MD, delivering regenerative medicine protocols that integrate genomics testing with targeted peptide therapies. As an IntellxxDNA Authorized Clinical Office, the clinic utilizes genetic analysis to inform treatment selection for conditions ranging from osteoarthritis and chronic joint pain to cognitive decline and sexual wellness concerns. Dr. Liu’s practice focuses on identifying the biological mechanisms underlying age-related decline and chronic pain, then designing interventions based on each patient’s genetic profile and clinical presentation.

The clinic’s peptide therapy menu includes NAD+ infusions and copper peptides, both administered as part of comprehensive treatment plans. NAD+ therapy addresses cellular energy deficits associated with brain fog, migraine patterns, and age-related cognitive changes, while copper peptides support tissue repair in patients with joint degeneration and skin aging. These peptides are prescribed following thorough evaluation that may include IntellxxDNA genomic panels, which assess genetic variants affecting inflammation pathways, neurotransmitter metabolism, and cellular repair capacity. Treatment protocols for osteoarthritis patients often combine peptide therapy with nutritional counseling tailored to reduce systemic inflammation based on genetic predispositions identified through testing.

Dr. Victor Liu brings a genomics-informed approach to regenerative medicine, interpreting genetic data to predict treatment response and identify contraindications before initiating peptide protocols. His clinical model emphasizes personalized medicine—patients with sexual wellness concerns receive different peptide combinations and dosing schedules than those addressing cognitive health or joint pain, with all decisions guided by laboratory findings and genetic markers. The clinic’s anti-aging medicine programs incorporate both NAD+ and copper peptides alongside nutritional interventions designed to support the specific metabolic pathways revealed through each patient’s IntellxxDNA results.

Patients at California Regenerative Clinic begin with an in-person consultation in San Francisco that includes medical history review, physical examination, and discussion of genomic testing options. Those proceeding with IntellxxDNA panels return for results interpretation and treatment planning once genetic analysis is complete, typically within two to three weeks. NAD+ infusions are administered on-site with monitoring, while copper peptide protocols may involve both in-office applications and prescribed home-use formulations depending on the condition being treated. Follow-up visits track symptom changes, functional improvements, and any need for protocol adjustments based on patient response.

The clinic’s authorization as an IntellxxDNA Clinical Office distinguishes its approach from standard peptide therapy practices in the San Francisco Bay Area. This certification enables Dr. Liu to order proprietary genetic panels that assess dozens of variants relevant to regenerative medicine outcomes, including genes affecting collagen synthesis, mitochondrial function, and inflammatory response. Patients seeking treatment for migraines, brain fog, or cognitive decline benefit from genetic insights into neurotransmitter pathways, while those with osteoarthritis receive data on cartilage metabolism and pain sensitivity genes. This genomics-first methodology allows the clinic to stratify patients by likely treatment response and customize peptide selection, dosing, and adjunctive nutritional protocols to each individual’s genetic architecture.
