The HGH 100 IU pen holds 3ml of solution across 300 units, so one unit on the dial equals 0.01ml. That works out at 33.33 IU/ml, or 11.10mg/ml by mass. As a worked example, 9 units is 0.09ml, containing 3.00 IU (1.00mg). Somatropin is dosed in international units; the mg figure is the same amount by mass, using the pen’s stated conversion.
