The HGH 30 IU pen holds 3ml of solution across 300 units, so one unit on the dial equals 0.01ml. That works out at 10.00 IU/ml, or 3.33mg/ml by mass. As a worked example, 10 units is 0.10ml, containing 1.00 IU (0.33mg). Somatropin is dosed in international units; the mg figure is the same amount by mass, using the pen’s stated conversion.
